MT-100 Details

MT-100 is our free quick tester. It is intended only as a rough and quick indicator and should not be relied upon to determine if you really qualify. You can pass this test and still fail the official means test and you can fail this test and still pass the official means test.

Use this tester if you are not ready to file bankruptcy but only want to explore the possibility. When you are ready to file, use MT-200 or MT-300.

If you pass this test, it only indicates that you might pass the official means test but the reverse is not true. That is, if you fail this test, it indicates that you need to use a full BAPCPA means tester such as MT-200 or MT-300. Only MT-200 and MT-300 or higher can apply all of the credits and deductions that you are entitled to. They also take into account the details of your case such as creditor, income and expense details, future payments, arrearage payments and much more, to ensure that you receive an accurate result.

Unlike MT-200 and MT-300 which take about 15 minutes to complete, this test takes only 3 minutes to complete.
